West Georgia Technical College Opens Two New Pearson Vue Labs for GED Testing
CARROLLTON, GA – West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) is proud to announce the opening of two new Pearson VUE Testing Labs at its Murphy and LaGrange campuses. The launch of these testing labs marks an exciting expansion in educational opportunities for residents of Haralson and Troup counties, as well as the other counties in WGTC’s service area.
The Pearson Vue testing labs provide accessible and convenient locations for members of the community to take the General Educational Development (GED) tests, allowing test-takers to benefit from local, high-quality testing environments and earn their GED credentials.
“Having Pearson VUE GED Testing Labs at our Murphy and LaGrange campuses offers our community convenient access to testing centers,” said Rebecca Wheeler, Dean of Adult Education at West Georgia Tech. “This not only saves time and travel expenses but also opens doors for individuals to pursue higher education and better job opportunities. We are proud to offer these resources to support our community’s growth and success.”
Additionally, residents of Georgia can take advantage of the HSE (High School Equivalency) Hope Grant, which provides up to $200 to individuals to cover the cost of GED testing. This grant aims to remove financial barriers and encourage individuals to pursue their educational goals.
West Georgia Technical College is committed to providing accessible, high-quality education and testing opportunities to its community. These new testing labs represent a significant step towards empowering individuals to achieve their educational and professional aspirations.
