Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)

What is it?  The Right on Track Enhancement Plan will provide advisement support and career guidance to students earlier in the enrollment process and throughout the enrollment life cycle.

New Plan

In the new plan, the staff and faculty coaches will:

• Set the Track

  • Goal 1:  Train and equip teams of staff and faculty to consistently deliver quality advising to WGTC students.

• Start on Track

  • Goal 2:  Assist students with forming achievable educational goals by providing career education resources that empower them to identify a career path relevant to the workforce.  

  • Goal 3:  Students will use appropriate campus and technological resources that will contribute to educational goals.

  • Goal 4:  Improve retention by advising students to follow an academic plan and select appropriate courses throughout their enrollment at WGTC.

• Stay on Track

  • Goal 5:  Advisor Coach and Faculty Coach will follow up with students in subsequent semesters and through intrusive advising and increase awareness and support.   

  • Goal 6:   Advisors will work with students during sessions to address students’ barriers to student success and provide appropriate support resources.
