Earn Your GED for Free: WGTC Adult Education Program Hosts GED Registration on November 12
West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) Adult Education program is hosting two in-person GED registration sessions on November 12 at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the WGTC Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, Murphy and LaGrange campuses.
Upon registration, Adult Education offers High School Equivalency (high school equivalency) GED or HiSET test preparation, career exploration, workplace readiness training and dual enrollment in the college program available at no cost to students.
Georgia residents can take advantage of the HSE (High School Equivalency) Hope Grant, which provides up to $200 to individuals to cover the cost of the GED exam. Testing is available on-site at the Pearson Vue testing labs on the WGTC Coweta, Douglas, Murphy and LaGrange campuses. Pearson Vue labs are also available for public use for GED exam use for those who are not enrolled in WGTC GED courses.
Adult Education will hold its last in-person registration of the year on December 3.
